Zachary LaBounty, MD

I was born and raised in Washington State. I played collegiate baseball and completed my undergraduate degree at Biola University, with a major in biology and a minor in biblical studies. During my time in baseball, I served as a player and coach for the FCA “SoCal Shepherds” ministry baseball team and as an international missions athlete in Cuba. After graduating, I worked in public health as a Lead Disease Investigator in Washington State and later went to medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine (where I met my wife!). My passion for EM was fostered in medical school by an EM attending mentor who I met through CMDA. My hobbies are pickleball, wood working, bass fishing, hiking, thrifting, and Super Smash Bros Melée.
