Aliena Liaw, DO

Hi, I'm Alie! I was born and raised in Taiwan before moving to Irvine, California, for high school. I stayed in Southern California for college at UC Riverside, where I studied Biology, and later earned my medical degree from LECOM. I chose Emergency Medicine because I enjoy the variety, fast pace, and the opportunity to build a broad foundation of medical knowledge. Outside of medicine, I enjoy training Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai, chess, as well as spending time with my husband and son. As a family, we love to travel—especially visiting Taiwan to spend time with family—try new restaurants, and explore new places. We're looking forward to discovering Arizona's hiking trails!
