William Mati, MD
Greetings! I was born in Chicago, IL and was raised primarily in Phoenix, AZ. Growing up as a nomad, I eventually attended 11 schools before graduating high school in Arizona! I moved back to Chicago to receive my Bachelor of Science (Summa Cum Laude) from Loyola University Chicago and then attended medical school at Rush University Medical Center. All this ultimately landed me at my top choice for residency — Abrazo Health, where I am thankful to continue my training with an amazing community and eventually plant my roots here in the Valley. My areas of interest in medicine include medical education, prehospital and disaster medicine. Outside of medicine, you’ll catch me on road trips, sightseeing, trying new foods, playing Nintendo/Playstation, or spending time with my wife and (very big) family. Lastly, an interesting fact: my native language is Aramaic — the language Jesus spoke!
