Dr. Sami Hoshi is an Infectious Disease Specialist who was born and raised in Syria where he attended his medical school at University of Damascus. Dr. Hoshi came to the US for his medical training and had his Internal Medicine residency at Creighton University School of Medicine/St Joseph Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix AZ. Afterwards, he moved to Detroit, Michigan where he completed his Infectious Disease Fellowship at Ascension St. John Hospital. He then moved back to Phoenix, AZ where he Joined Abrazo health system in 2021. He is currently working with the residency program as a faculty member and Director of the Infectious Disease rotation.  His other clinical interests include Travel medicine, TB and HIV.
Dr. Hoshi is an adrenaline junkie so when you can’t find him skydiving, you can find him hiking, biking or travelling to new countries eating their delicious food.
